The first time I ran VO (Arch Linux w/ KDE), it forced my dual-monitor displays from "Extend" to "Duplicate". I was able to change it back but was wondering if there is a command-line switch to keep it from doing that again.

What I do is run VO in windowed mode with the size set to my primary monitor's dimensions, then I use my window manager to remove the window decorations. I don't know how that's done in KDE, but in IceWM it's done by pressing Alt+F11.

Theres also devilspie with which you can remove window decoration, resize, move, etc. works with almost any WM.
