Is there plans together away from rich controls (understood to many features to entirely get away fromtouch controls) but rather utilize tilt controls or the gyro scope for steering?

Is there the possibility of getting the target control near the shooting control?

Anyother suggestions out there?

You can already use the tilt controls for steering, if you go into Options and enable Accelerometer mode. In testing, I found this mode to be drastically inferior for a tablet, but far better for phones.. so our phone version will probably use that by default.

However, we try to make as many options available to people as possible, so they can choose what works best for them.

Sweet now this is the game in the commercials! It'll take a lil bit to get use to the tilt controls. Btw I'm on the xoom!

I've now used up my sixteen hours of free trial and am now subscribing. I have only played the game on my new xoom and really like the accelerometer conrol of the ship. Game play is even better with my xoom connected to my flat screen. I've spent quite a bit of time in combat training getting the hang of the targeting and flight controls. The one problem i'm having is the lack of secondary and tertiary fire controls. There needs to be a way to select which addon responds to the fire button. I'd suggest that you make the status display of installed addons an interactive one allowing the pilot to touch select which weapon is the active one.

Perhaps this is an option already available in the control setting menu, but I didn't see it.

Hmm. I didn't expect so many people to like accelerometer control. Maybe we should start offering that as a default option on startup. Although that might require re-working some of the tutorials.

The accellerometer helps with tactile input. I prefer the touch controls, but find myself constantly looking at my thumb to verify placement. I usually use the touch control with spin for the acelerometer. A true x-y-z axis would solve the tactile issue, but prolly not feasable.

I would love to hear about a fix for the weapon selection...
