No matter how i set video settings to very low, once VO restarts (forcefull quit or via Quit button then restart), its back to very high.

The low video settings of course use much less energy, hence i like to use them. Can we have this setting permanent and not always being set to very high?

What device are you using Xeha? Never noticed this on any of my phones/tablets. Is it possible that when you exit the client you are not doing it clean (or maybe a plugin is affecting the exit)? You have to logout and then quit for changes to stick, as VO only writes to it's config files on a clean exit of the client.

It may not exit cleanly due to a plugin, thats possible. Its on a HTC One M8 and some Samsung thingy. On my ODROID X2 (GreyShop) i have much less plugins and theres no issue.

Ima go check the odroid settings and apply it to the config files of the other phones and see if its being reset aswell...

Couldnt apply it via config file and also tried it on a Nexus 4, same thing (no plugins).

I also have this issue. Its a minor annoyance.

Minor? it takes a lot of time... First you load at very high which takes time, then you have to apply low twice and wait each time till it loaded again... I wouldnt say its minor, unless you never quit VO.

It is minor considering the other things I have to do to get VO working, but that's mainly due to old hardware on my part.
