A few glitches worth mentioning
However satisfied I am with Vendetta right now, I still have to mention a few bugs. They take low priority in my view, but it doesn't hurt to explain them:
1) ion storms have gone rogue: they now appear within wormholes and stations
2) the client sometimes confuses textures, and plasters the screen with random binary
3) though navroutes are saved in the navroute directory, the navroue list command still consults the old directory
That's just about all I can remember right now, but I won't hesitate to add more I see/remember.
Don't call this complaining in any way, it's not. The game is GREAT right now, and I can't wait for the cap ship, (when is that coming out anyway? It's been delayed almost 3 weeks), and more additions.

1) Fixed: http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/2/9524#110572
2) Many possibilities. What OS are you running? What video card do you use? I use a nVidia GeForce4 Ti4200 (soon to be 6800, hurray!) under Linux. The only time I ever see texture glitches is occasionally when I switch between virtual desktops and/or virtual consoles. And it's always been temporary, jumping to a new sector makes it all right again.

2 out of 3 fixed already. Not bad, wouldn't you say?

Great! I didn't expect it to be fixed so quickly. I don't quite know WHAT kind of graphics card I have. How can you find out? I'm also running 10.2.6 on a G4, 800 mh processor with 512kb ram. If that's relevant...
Oh yeah, and I remembered another one: a trade mission just all of a sudden ditched me. It's the first, and the last time so far it's happened. Not a big issue.
And sorry for not posting to bugs, I'd never noticed that specific forum before.

^^ Keep I say.
^^ Keep I say.
Only keep it if they're going to be real storms.

Hi Person.
I too had the texture corruption problem with Mac OS X 10.2.8. I tried a number of things including bringing my Mac to an Apple Store and having their techs look at it. The only thing that fixed it was upgrading to Mac OS X 10.3.

So my answer is to spend $110 on something that will soon be obsolete? No thanks, I'm waiting for Tiger. :)
My X.2.8 works, so I don't think you NEED 10.3
