| Please recommend any improvements to our forum here you can think of (anything but "use phpBB"). I am currently experimenting with the message board, so you'll probably see some changes here and there. On my todo list already are: --- search form --- x add a search hints & tips - search posts by username - search topics by subject - user-selectable search sort order - paginate search results --- other --- x BBcode (partial support: italics, bold, underline, and [img] tags.) x pagination of threads [completed in /mbtest/ sandbox] - time zone and page length setting per-user - darken links for already-viewed topics - make page listing more convenient to use - polls I don't really have time to mess with this at the moment but I felt like a diversion for now. Edit: 11/08 added some stuff Edit: 2/25 fixed some pagination bugs, added provisional bbcode support |

| Really like the new format. Also, on the forum index page you could display the name of the most recent poster in each forum and the name of the thread they posted in. Also, I know it's been said before, but however extemporaneous it may be forum signatures and avatars would be icing on the cake. |

| Can you make that when you view topic for second time posts that were there when u viewed it first time are somehow marked(make them darker?) And in Last Post column can poster name be in the same line as time of post becouse the way its now every topic takes 2 lines instead of one. PS Can you make an option to turn pagination off? |

| I also think sigs are obnoxious and redundant. How about like, a profile you can get by clicking on someone's name? I could make pagination optional, I suppose. Lemme update the original post... I wasn't sure about the two-line thing.. that's mainly what I wanted opinions on, and why I haven't deployed it into the main site. |

| I think a profile thats clickable via the posters name is a great idea, I'll admit that I've since changed my mind on Sigs and avators since I made my prevous thread. Also, I'm still pretty hooked on my icon ideas for aplha/beta/mod/dev's, maybe also an ikon for you main's race ingame? These would all appear next to your name, vat a glance you'd have a good ammount of info on a poster then :-) I love the replies that are noted now btw :-) |

| A "view posts since last visit" feature, akin to the one in PHPBB, would be nice. Also, could you change the font used for the information in the "replies", "author", and "last post" columns back to Times or Times New Roman or whatever it was? Consistency is nice... :P | |

| Can you put the pages at the top rather than the bottom so I don't have to scroll to the bottom to get to the more recent posts? I also 2nd the "posts since last visit feature" |
