I am not as bad as you make me out to be, and have actually even befriended people from your guild.

I am sorry that I did seem to target your guild, but I attack anyone who I see above level 4 combat in nation space, or anyone in grey space, and always offer the same choice (usually when your about 32%, other *players* get a hail straight away) pay me 20k (its not a lot of money for a guild of your size, surely?) and i will leave you alone, at that time.

I would also like to add I remember those that do pay, and usually strike them straight off my KOS sheet,

Yoda.

The Itani Alliance urges the EnB guild not to give in to the whims of a single madman. (I hear yoda's a CHILD killer! Hehe)
The [IA] stands ready to assist your traders should they come under attack.

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but isn't that called "extortion?"

Even if you are role-playing a pirate, that doesn't mean that you are being nice, especially if you attack anybody in nation space, be they "above level 4 combat" or not. Nation space is supposed to be safer than gray space. You're still role-playing a pirate, but then you're not being nice anymore. The nicer pirates stay out of nation space altogether when pirating (and steal from the rich and give to the poor).

me raises hand, me is poor :D

i cannot count the credits i have lost to replacing ships. so i am poor. and you, being tranders mostly, are rich... what is the issue here? you are rich no matter what part of space you are in. and i am poor no matter where i am. difference being when in nations space, i kill you and i get a SF after me. that is what makes me think twice about killing you... hence nation space in safer.

EnB can't deal with yodaofborg?

Wow, now I've seen everything.

Hate to agree with a pirate, but it is much much simpler to cough up the cash if you can't either outrun him or outshoot him. Trade runs, specially Guild Trade runs, are much too important (not to mention profitable) to cry over a measly 20k, which can be easily replaced by mining 10-15 units of heliocene or denic (which takes about what? 10 minutes?).

But really, EnB-eers, if you can't handle BLAK's methods, I can only imagine the horrors The Syndicate put you through.

I never said I was nice deku, I usually do hang out in UIT and grey space, afterall UIT space is a haven for us pirates, as not all stations there are controlled by the UIT's.

But I also in no way think that *life revolves around me*, or hmm, no, i wont quote more...

Pay me, or run away, hey, i dont even mind if you shoot back, infact, I enjoy a nice fight - but if im really as bad as you all make out, why was I even classed as a *nicer* pirate? Im not.

Yodaofborg is getting old. (but in no way uncapable, infact with age, comes experience)

After being helped out by an EnB member on a long and very boring for me (maybe not for him, he had to travel even further, and through grey space, you know who you are ;) mission, I was suprised he even deliverd the goods, I have pirated this pilot many times, or tried to (he got pretty good at evading me :) yet he delivered more than I had asked for, this enabled me to gain the respect of the Itani nation even faster - as a pirate this was important, as the Itani currently offer the best Pirate ship, to my knowledge...

...From this day I started to think of the EnB guild in a new light, especially after certain recent events that can be kept out of public eye, I look forward to paying back 1 members debt soon (and I actually owe EnB, not gunfire, but a favour)

If that's extortion, what is piracy?

This is Dragon of Fire, second in command of the EnB guild.

It has recently been revealed to us that someone has been observing our guild as an alt... he has now made many suggestions to help us. If we put these suggestions into effect EnB will become a major guild in Vendetta... not just a "newbie guild" and all the other names we've accumulated over the months.

I myself have made many attempts to try to get our guild on the right path... it is one reason why I'm second in command, but now that we have the help of non-guildies we should FINALLY be able to get our guild on track and interactive.

On the subject of pirates though, I personnaly do not have any problems with them, in-fact (and I don't mean to brag and I may make myself a target for saying this) the ONLY time I've died at the hands of pirates is when I go looking for a fight, I've never died while trading, traveling, etc. and I am constantly chased/fired at. I think that pirates are a necessity in the game, without them the game would be very dull.

I agree, EnB needs to open up. We have a fairly bad reputation right now but with effort that can be fixed. One area we do lack in though is that of PvP, we (I) would greatly appreciate if we could get some volunteers to train our guildies, I think one of the main reasons you don't see many of us is because of our PvP skill, training would result in a more interactive level from us and it would also gain better relations with other guilds.

We are trying to change, we're already making plans for weekly events and the such to get our guild and others together and to start pulling our part in VO.
May 02, 2005 terjekv link
it takes more of people to change, than just about anything else. also, you have Zet. he's a good pilot and a great guy, he also knows grey well. apart from that, quite a few members of BLAK help people with PvP, be it for a price or for free.

contacting people with such requests will usually be met with an honest reply.

> /me wishes EnB would declare war on BLAK again, if just for humor value...

Well, all I have to say it that was part of the old regime.... We have a new commander, and things are different. For one, the guild will not be drawn into personal squabbles...

Also, as a guild, yes, we are anti-pirate. but that does not stop us from helping out an individual known pirate who puts out the distress call (in fact, it's part of our philosophy).

And we definately would like to open talks with individuals who would like to assist us in rounding out our skills. For one, as a guild we are considered mostly as traders. This is probably 'cuz we, in general, are fairly weak in the PvP aspect.

So I will ask this... If there is anyone out there with exceptional skill in the PvP area of the game, and would not mind training us ( not as targets, haha ) then we would definately appreciate it, and you would see us venture more into the universe as active individuals.

Well, talk to you guys in game...

Hey AtomicNewt,

Most of us are always ready to help out on PVP. Just msged me when I am playing Holden in the game and I'll see what I can do. It's free by the way. (I am not that exceptional, but at least I have been known to beat shape about 1 times in 10 i think.)
May 02, 2005 Shapenaji link
If you see me on, you can hit me up too. In fact, I think most of BLAK is willing. (We already train those who come into grey in fighters, its only the trade ships that have the big target on their heads)
May 02, 2005 LeberMac link
Ha ha ha. "Training" at the hands of Shape can be expensive.

I hear Borb the Mercenary will train folks in PvP for 110,000 per hour-long lesson or so.
(Psst! Now, Borb, remember our deal! I get 10% of all referrals!)
May 02, 2005 softy2 link
Pfft. Why train with Borb the 2nd when you can get free premium pvp schooling!

(We'll put ya out of business Borb!! Unless you pay us 100k to, uh, advertise your services for you...)
