I'm willing to bet that 'new' players that have been hanging out in B8 trying to get people to shoot them down (to get older players to lose XP) are BLAK members being bored.

Since the capture of the information regarding the CPV Imitatis, and subsequent arrest of various [BLAK] "associates" - there has been an insurgence in rogue pirate activity. The trade lanes have been populated of late by more and more "suspects", and the CapShip routes have garnered less interest by the faction defense forces. This has created the need to increase the Viper ranks, and training has been stepped up to meet that need.

Recently, several sightings of [BLAK] membership have been confirmed, so only speculation is possible at this time as to their location. Is it possible that they were further along in the construction of the Grey Space CapShip (GSCS) than we were led to believe? Are they away, possibly testing this new ship design? Certain ex-[BLAK] have also recently appeared and have offered limited information, usually from afar. Some of these sightings have been confirmed... however, the the information offered seems less credible at this time due to lack of dedication by the informants.

Doest my eyes deceive me?!

All was fine in the space lanes through Sedina this evening. Though there was a small nebula cloud moving through the area, it was nothing to concern ourselves with. The kinda of thing happens all the time, especially in a high polluted region such as Sedina B8. After a long period of wait time for our shift end, my wing mates and I were running some practice runs. I was having difficultly with the upgrade to my controls and requested a substantial amount of training sessions. We thought there was nothing to fear. The pirate band call Black Lance had not been sighted for a long time and rumors were going around of their demise. Intelligence had reassured us that the fearsome Black Lance wont be around anytime soon, since the recent sting operation regarding the groups' efforts to build cap ships. About 1 hour before our shift ended, i was coming out of a looping attack run feeling the pressure of about 3 G's, when i spotted a feint SkyCommand Prometheus skimming through the clouds in the distance. A half a second later my warning alarms went off. I chanced a quick look at the IFF signature, and what did i see. The name Matriarch was glaring at me. As i was watching the Prometheus, I was relieved to see it on an escape vector from the region. I dared not to tail the ship at first, then i remembered my oath and started pursuit. Just as I was baring down on the vessel, i thought i could see straight through the ship as it passed in front of a planetary object. I couldn't believe it... I wouldn't believe it. I rubbed my eyes. and still it was there, like a ghost. Even though my heart stopped beating and it seemed like an eternity. A second later the name faded from the console and all was calm.

Maybe the morons have their ships and base infected with their own BLAK virus?

Late last night, as I was passing through Sedina B-8, I noticed Shape on the sector monitor. He was only there for a brief time and I didn't actually see his ship. Something is afoot...
