THERES A HIVE UPDATE TUESDAY!?
While I have enough fate in the Mods to pay them ten bucks each and every month, I'll believe in that update when it's being installed in my PC, not a moment sooner.
As for BLAK, 10 to 1 the pirates were gone for the end-of-school-term shenanigans, and are returned now that summer's settled in. Or maybe they returned because they enjoy the attention. That said, the "u" key is my new bestest friend from now on, along with the turbo button.
And if people are getting together to annoy Mecha, drop me a line, I want in!

Um, but... if the thread is about BLAK disappearing, and now they have returned, what else is there to talk about?
They actively refuse to explain their absence, by the way, which also opens up the theory that they won't answer because they don't remember the reason, due to a major drinking binge they embarked upon right before their disappearance and which gave them a month-long hangover.

I was wondering where those couplea cases of tequila went, I guess it wasn't just Broma!
Drinking was possibly involved. We don't remember, obviously. Or we do, and aren't saying. It is possible that doing laundry may have been in there somewhere, I did seem to end up with some clean socks at the end of it. And possibly - just possibly - we might have had a picnic and mud volleyball tournament. I have also heard the idea floated that Shape attended a Go tournament, forced us all to come, killed everyone there, and then brainwashed us all so we wouldn't remember, although that certainly doesn't explain my socks. Leber, have you seen any socks around Itani space? I seem to be missing one out of a pair...
LeberMac held the lone sock in his hand, wondering how it had come to be floating in Itani space. Analysis by [IA]'s Deep Blue supercomputer had determined that it belonged to Lonestar, who until recently had gone missing from the universe but had inexplicably returned in recent days.
"Hrmmm. Perhaps he came back for his sock?" LeberMac mused. "This sock must be extremely valuable to him..."
He decided to keep it for ransom until Lonestar coughed up some information regarding where he and the rest of [BLAK] had gone to for the previous 2 months.
Intelligence sources from all over the galaxy speculated on many things... a vacation, going back to Pirate school, loss of sub-ether net broadband service for their part of the galaxy... BUT.
LeberMac's own hunch was that they had been off doing a little testing of this Hive menace in the mysterious Void where the hive bots had been emerging from.
He placed the sock in a stasis chamber and wired off a quick IM to Lonestar:

We have your sock. If you ever want to see it safe and sound again, we must arrange a meeting to discuss your wherabouts over the last 2 months. Please do not let tragedy befall the sock - think of your cold left foot! You know how to get in touch with me.
