There will be a new racetrack and new revised rules. All this will be posted probably tomorrow when I iron out the rules in Government class (so boring and easy zzZzzzZzzZ). Anyway, yeah that's it for now.

May they Rot in Hell Forever.

Hmmm... I think you owe the pirates the prize money if no one finishes again.

Just a thought.
Nov 14, 2005 jexkerome link
Nah. Like Joyce suggested to Lecter, the pirates should ante up some cash, and the one who gets the most kills gets it all. You have then two different groups with different objectives and different rewards, and so more people will join in the Search for More Money, on either side of the fence.

Or maybe have the Syndicate or CLM sponsor the pirate side of the event, and thus they give the reward money.

Hows about you keep the friggin prize moneys, and just pay me for repeated use of a CLM controled system, namely, Verasi.
Nov 14, 2005 csgno1 link
CLM controlled system? It's been weeks since I've seen a pirate there. You need to up your coverage to something closer to 24/7 if you want to claim control.

Hmmm, maybe we play in different time zones harpo, but if me n some of mine aint in verasi, its our day off :P gotta have some fun sometimes, right?
Nov 14, 2005 csgno1 link
Absolutely, R&R is good for the soul. I recommend to all pirates a particular spa in Pyronis. Spend all the time there you can afford.

CSR 3: the search for 2...

Sure, I thinkt he pirates should have their own betting system, but if NOBODY finishes, I think you owe the prizemoney to them. It's after all, only fair.

while we're at it, who wants to organize a counter-CSR group for the next race?
Nov 14, 2005 greengeek link
I suppose I should organize a counter-counter-CSR group to kick the pie rats out of Verasi, much like we did today. Good fun. I miss the wars from the BL (not BLAK) days.

Why is it fair to give money to the people who came and ruined your event, may I ask?

Welcome race fans to the Corporate Sectors Run. This race is new and revised due to setlements with our new sponsor, the Makchuga Bar and Tavern. ;) But seriously, it was time for a change and the old rules needed dusting off. So without further adieu, I present the new and improved Run.

Presenting the Makchuga sponsored Corporate Sectors Run. This is the Union's own intersystem race circuit. Races occur every Friday at 11pm GMT (6pm EST). The rules are as follows:

1. All ships are allowed except for the following:

Valkyries of any make
Marauders of any kind
Promethues' of any type

However, you may still take the low level faction ships (ie IBG, SVG and WTD).

2. Weapons are allowed and now encouraged due to an increase in pirate activity in Verasi.

3. Racers meet at the Pelatus O-15 station. There they will meet the race anouncer of the night at 3000 meters.

4. The race circuit is as follows: Pelatus, Edras, Verasi, Nyrius, Dau, Azek, Latos, Ukari, Arta Celastis [sic], Dau, Nyrius, Verasi, Edras and finally Pelatus.

5. Shooting is allowed during the race at absolutely anyone including other racers.\

6. Racers are required to report their position over the group comm at every wormhole sector. Racers ARE NOT REQUIRED to report storms. Failure to report your position may result in disqualification.

7. Docking at stations along the way is allowed, but will significantly slow you down in the race. You must report that you have dockeed in a station or risk disqualification.

8. If you die in the race you are out.

9. The first racer to make it through the circuit and back into the Pelatus O-15 ector wins one million credits. Second one gets six hundred thousand credits and third one gets four hundred thousand credits.

10. The first person (in case of multiple people achieving this in the same race) to breach the current standing record winds an additional five hundred thousand credits.

After Race party at Corvus Hold (Odia M-14) again sponsored by the Makchuga. Hope to see you at the race.

** Side-Note: Ignore rule #10 for the first race. Congrats to LeberMac and his standing record.**

**Side-Note #2: Alright, I'm ending this pirate and pvp bull once and for all. If you are not in the race group, you are not racing and therefore not entitled to squat. To race you must have gone through all the wormhole waypoints in the proper order. If you don't, you are not entitled to a single credit. And no, chasing the racers from Pelatus through the race course back to Pelatus does not count either. If you're going to race, just race. It's the only way you're going to see any money**

Hah... as you wish.

So... No nation specific ships... right? Or are you allowing the Non-UIT Maud variants? because that's kind of confusing. Just say No Mauds if that's what you mean.

Hmmm... Might you also outlaw any infiniboost ships with more than 200m/s max turbo? because I don't quite understand the No Nation-specific(as in Prom,Valk, Maud... not the specific variants) ships thing if not for that...

Clarification... one may pilot any variant of these... right?
Bus
Cent
Wraith
Vult
Atlas
Hog
Hornet
Taur
Rag
Moth

but none of these...
Maud
Valk
Prom

I don't quite see why there is a good reason to not allow Mauds or Proms... care to explain that?
Nov 15, 2005 moldyman link
I threw in UIT mauds and Proms cuz we decided to ban Valks. Might as well make it at least look fair and ban all the high level nation (ie Itani, Serco and UIT) ships.

Mauds are allowed, just not the UIT one.

Faction variants are allowed.

haha, afraid of Sedina now are you?

this ought to be good... doubling back on the same route in grey space will help us pirates make short work of the racers.. I'll be sure to organize an efficient ambush somewhere along the way ;)
Nov 15, 2005 moldyman link
Pirates will pirate anywhere. Besides, we go through "CLM Territory" twice now.
Nov 15, 2005 yodaofborg link
"Syn + CLM" space, as it goes :) (I put Syn first as a good jesture, STFU rookies :P) And of course, i'll hire any mercs willing to make these racers lifes a misery :)

Of course, the racers may get a lil break if they pay us, ooooh do you want to win sooo badly you would like us to help? !!!
Nov 15, 2005 moldyman link
Hey host a counter event. The pirate with the most racer kills get one million credits or something. Enable shooting at each other. *snicker*
