"TGFT does not do ctc for either side" kbireta
From ctc stats page: TGFT Ossella Be-Reme < serco deliveries 10
Ossella Be-Reme was shot down once after this and warned not to do it again.
Also, as a neutral trading guild, your members should be neutral with all sides.
Having members of TGFT with Itani KOS or hate standing is not acceptable.
Italy military guilds shoot anyone that is KOS or hated by Itani - just like border turrets would do.
If any of your members with Itani KOS standing was shot by SKV, this is entirely his and TGFTs fault.

So what you're saying Bojan is that [Itan] is not an Itani military guild.
@bojansplash Check again, Ossella isn't on there?

Btw, we have members who have participated in deneb and ctc prior to joining tgft. They just can't do it after they join.

Hey, a tussle. :P
@kbireta
Incident with Ossella Be-Reme happened while he was wearing TGFT tag several weeks ago. Your link shows only recent weeks stats, do some scrolling back. Ecka was aware of the incident at the time and explained to your member why he got shot.
@TheRedSpy
Our (SKV) rules of engagement are very simple:
1. Serco military guild members
2. Serco, UIT & Itani pilots with KOS or Hate Itani standing
3. any pilots that committed atrocities towards SKV personnel (currently only Sieger is on this list)
For a list of our allies ITAN's rules of engagement you might want to ask ITAN Command.
They might be more lenient toward Serco non-military personnel.

bojansplash, then the ctc incident was taken care of and doesn't need to be discussed
so you would kill on sight TGFT with...
2. Serco, UIT & Itani players with KOS or Hate Itani standing
for example... if I wanted to buy some SVG's some day to try them out or a new serco player that recently joined tgft

SKV is not against free trade but pilots with KOS or Hate Itani standing are considered enemies of the Itani Nation and treated like such.
As TGFT is a proclaimed neutral trading guild it would be in the best interest of your members to be neutral (dislike is acceptable) with all Nations if they want to avoid getting shot by Itani military.
TGFT members who are Itani KOS or Hated are obviously not neutral and are exclusively trading with Serco nation.
This whole discussion is now moot since TGFT and SKV are at war.

@bojansplash
Such a narrow use of the standing system is silly especially if the person is flying a neutral tag. I'm Surprised SKV didn't end up on the KOS list sooner.
Btw, I get temp kos when killing Pirates in nation space (3+ times in NFZ). How does SKV determine if the KOS is from defending Itani space?

SKV never had an official NAP with TGFT.
As I said earlier, SKV is not against free trade and does not attack peaceful traders unless they are KOS or Hated by Itani nation. By definition, KOS or Hated standing indicates they are not 'peaceful traders' and are working against interests of the Itani Nation.
Temp. KOS standing clears in 15 min. If you get shot by SKV pilot while being temp. KOS that is unfortunate but acceptable risk resulting from your actions and willful decision to violate NFZ and become temp. KOS.

tempkos is 24 hours for 3+ kills in nfz, btw
That game stat does not indicate that a player is actively doing anything against the Itani nation or has ever done anything against the Itani nation. It's just a stat you used to start a war with nuetral traders.

Heh. biretak tries to claim SKV are the ones playing fast and loose with the faction system, when in fact he's the one defending the exploitation of the faction system's failure to account for a person's past actions.
If nothing else, kb, you should realize that even if you cancel it out later, while actually KOS with the Itani, you are not in fact neutral at that moment.
As for all this temp-kos nonsense.... the 3-kill system only kicks in if you were the aggressor and the person you murdered was not already hated. You are a trader, not a pirate hunter. Hunting peaceful pirates within Itani space is not your job, especially not when the incompetent Itani government doesn't know they're pirates. (Of course, you are not actually a trader. You're some sort of Viper/Pirate hybrid wannabee who uses the TGFT tag to try to claim neutrality despite your obvious meddling.)

If you are not itani or serco, the only itani or serco specific ships that you can buy are the svg and ibg. The svg has better turbo speed and turbo drain, while the ibg is mostly redundant with the rev-c. It will not suprise me to see many uit be +600 serco, and by extension, -600 itani. -601 itani could be used as actually anti itani, but -600 itani (in concert with +600 serco) means little more than a desire to purchase the svg.
@Pizzasgood In regards to the Itani vs Serco war, I am neutral regardless of what that game stat says. I don't see how some number changing or not changing unrelated to war activities would change my participation in the war.
I think you are using a very narrow interpretation of neutral or you are just unwilling see past some game generated number. It's a faction standing number to indicate whether or not you can kill someone in that space without penalty and whether or not they get the better equipment in that space. That's the numbers purpose. For someone on their own to read more into it is their error.
The faction standing numbers do not analyze role play (you can take a hit killing a trader, pirate or a nationalist).
BTW... on the faction standing page Guild Software could easily replace the word Neutral with the word Indifferent which would more accurately reflect the meaning of those stats.

Why would a peaceful, as TGFT claims 'neutral, trader need IBG or SVG and risk his neutrality and ability to freely trade across universe without any worries about nation/Faction standings?
Having a tag to make up for the fact that you're KOS with Itani is simply not good enough. It's not neutrality.
OMG TGFT has gone rogue!
+1 for disbanding 'em! :p

The reason why SKV wasn't KOS earlier is because the former leadership and the formerly active SKV were quite decent people. The current leadership conists of a few trigger happy clowns.
Can we close this thread now? Because TGFT will continue being successful while SKV will turn inactive again as it was just half a year ago. The 3 or 4 active SKV with their alts will slowly stop playing. So we may just aswell start ignoring this thread. Bye.

Best be careful Ecka doesn't have a heart attack when people can't be in TGFT because they keep dying.
