If anything I'd be logging on with a blatant Itani alt, joining the SKV crusade with one of my spare tridents, all my resources, contacts and influence and openly and proudly KICKING YOUR ASSES.
Because while Serco needs strong leadership and deserves my dedication, it can wait until TGFT has been fragmented and split apart by all the internal bitching and bickering that inevitably comes when you start losing so badly like you are now.

We ain't losing. My k/d on SKV is still positive. I don't really feel like I am losing. SKV needs ALL their forces to maintain stable station access. It drains all their resources. They cannot expand this "station war" any further than from time to time sneaking into nation space and shooting at one of our newer members, getting their station tanked all the time. It really is fascinating to see so many people focused on punishing another group of people for trying to be peaceful. Sad, shameful, disgusting, repulsive, and disappointing, but fascinating nevertheless. It's like you all take all the anger you find yourselves with throughout the day and channel it right into your personas here -- striving against eachother to see who can be the largest and most pure asshole possible. It really is a sight to behold!

And as a 7+ year member off and on, I can say for those who are new to VO that it is a completely inaccurate representation of TGFT. There are reasons why I return to TGFT first after any given hiatus from VO- and no, the guild tech isn't one of them.

Agreed, the scheme is widely applicable but, in this context, I used it to 'up' the hilariousness of this thread. After all, the point of RP forum is to have some fun. If it made you laugh - I succeeded.
Now for the other part - top brass TGFT bad apples does not mean that everyone is inherently infested with Machiavelli virus - resulting in a duplicitous interpersonal style, a cynical disregard for morality and a focus on self-interest and personal gain.
Most of the regular members really have no idea about scheming, lying, cheating and manipulating the top TGFT brass is into.
I have been here for a very long time, probably a bit longer then Ecka but, unlike him, I took a prolonged hiatus at some point when I got bored.
TGFT was once lead by the great Screwball and Surbius was extremely fun guy to have around.
Upon my return to VO I found there still are some guys who deserve my respect - Anachronos, you and Chumboat.
Oh, and I even though Lisa was good until that shady honey pot TGFT_utilities spyware fiasco happened.
That was a kind of a reality check smack in the face that seriously affected my perception of what TGFT is really about.
The war that started was not very serious at the beginning but, thanks to TGFT leadership insisting on furiously defending all the unethical and immoral TGFT practices and exploits that were exposed - turned TGFT into a vicious plague infecting the whole VO, plague that just needs to be eradicated.
