New Year - New Rules ?
Can I suggest - everyone tries this... ( and we see if it works better? )

1 - Please Both Read and Understand - The Forum Rules: and Be Nice!
2 - Only Reply to a Post - if you have you 'Agree or Disagree.'
3 - Don't just Attack new idea's / Defend the game 'As is'...
or reply with 'Your Idea is not part of the Vision'...
Unless you are sure, and can link to an example where a developer has said 'No'

Lol every idea gets thrown at the wall. And there have been times where our suggestions just arent part of the grand scheme. Trying to further limit what people say about a suggestion completely ruins the point of it. If the devs wanted to make suggestions a "agree or disagree" topic we wouldnt have the freedom to poke holes in other peoples ideas.

Those are OLD rules, except for the part about agree/disagree. We specifically allow discussion here, so long as it's on topic within the thread. See rules 3 and 6.

I think you are missing my point.
I'm not suggesting they can only 'agree or disagree'...
but they should at least have an opinion on the idea's...
Example:
This guy posted, and the 1 reply he got...
it’s basically says… - " the game is fine - we don’t want your ideas… "
being told - your ideas are not " part of the grand scheme. "
You would accept that from a developer - but what if - I told you I don't think your idea's are a good fit with this game... it is my decision ? or is it up to the developers ?

it was just 'word play' - for a better headline.
My suggestion was to add some 'new' rules to the 'existing rules'...
There seems to be a lot of - " 'Defend' the game as it is. "
and " your idea's are not part of the 'Original Vision'... "
As if it's an automatic response to any idea's or changes.
Not the best way to explore new idea's...

Mike, let the moderators and devs worry about others. Go ahead and make thoughtful suggestions per the stickied rules. Incarnate wrote those and he really wants and need people to stick to them.
