I'm newer to the game. Is anyone able to tell me the stats on the current interesting of the Goliath? Shields/Armor/Cargo/Weapon Ports.

The wiki doesn't have any info on the Goliath and the info and videos I have on it show it having like 3L 3S ports, 800cu etc. Trying to see if it's worth building it or just put in the extra work for the dent.

Iirc, 1L port, 600cu. Manufacturing lists exist somewhere.

Regarding the wiki, is that an 'anyone can edit', or do we have to get permission? I suppose i could try and help bring it up to speed with the recent changes to VO.

Don't know the specs of the manufactured goli... but it will probably get overlooked by myself to make a dent, then making a goli would be an afterthought - if capella isn't manufactuarable by then.

Goli's just really not impressive, unless maybe it takes CONSIDERABLY (and I mean impressively considerablly less) resources to manufacture.

DSmer, it has better turret positioning, better maneuverability, and just flat-out looks nice. Thats the Golly Green Giant's pros to a trident.

Goliath is smaller, which means it can be moved MUCH easier. I know, you guys would probably say 'fudge that' and go all-out for a dent, but as Luxen said, AMAZING turret positioning. The turret positioning is great!

I have first-hand experience, having used it on the test server.

It's good, and also it has only 200cu less than the dent? O.O. Needs to be nerfed, that.

AND IT LOOKS GOOD! Much better than the dent.

It's quite worth it, I should check the disadvantages.

shield and armour ratings are pitiful, though. Don't fly one solo unless you have a beefy guild tag to ward off potential enemies.

The goliath takes about half the stuff to build....

From my opinion the Goliath is actually the same in shipment risk. Sure shields and armour are worse but the rear turret makes PCBing n such a pain.
The real advantage to the TTM is it's use as a stationary assault platform. Aka afking/ using it to r/r etc. Any situation where the ship will be stopped or unattended the Goliath bites the dust. I actually tested it and if it's a totally perfect stack and Goliath is stationary 1 swarm can deshield it. Not 2. And then the lack of armour is ripped up quickly. So basically the Goliath is your hauler when there's pirates abound in grey. TTM takes over for quiet hauling and being used in combat.
