If you're going to post snippets of conversation proving we don't like you, don't expect people to. You're only reinforcing your reputation.

I don't like that you do things that clearly irritate nearly everyone around you and then complain bitterly when they respond negatively to you. This is how communities work.

Also, I didn't see that Miharu had called you a name and would have intervened had I seen it, or had you been a little more helpful than "scroll up". As for the other incidents, you used the word to describe yourself many times during that conversation. So I don't like that you wouldn't act to let me assist you, and that you paste a big ol' hangin' label on yourself and then object when others use it.

in stead of complaining about his actions... I don't see why planting mines at a station is that much different from wormholecamping which has been strenghtened with the latest vulnerability while jumping or while jumping in and that has only been looked upon as being ok and in dire need for a pirate to survive... i contineously see 2 measures being used... 1 for pirates and one other for anybody else... Since hey, if you take out his ability to plant mines there you will be hurting blackholes power in actively putting bread on his shelves. And grey space is supposed to be dangerous... if you can't handle it then snuff it... so if anybody can tell me why blackhole should receive the ire of the community if other people don't get the ire of the community but do things just as funrobbing from other people...

Although, I would wonder why the sf firstly don't shoot the mines. Secondly he doesn't end up being kos with that faction so he can't dock and replant them and thirdly the runners don't hire an anti blackhole escort, maybe even paying off a pierat to shoot down the lightning mines... they go down pretty easy with a tach you know, faster then blackhole can plant them...

Because...

1) You can't lose Corvus faction EVEN IF you kill an Admired character within the NFZ. The only way to permanently lose Corvus faction is to abort missions, and even then, Corvus standing will not (because of a GAME FEATURE) go below -600, making it impossible to make him permanently KOS in a Corvus station where the race starts.

2) The SF weren't shooting the mines because he placed them *inside* the station. They were issuing instead trying to get to the things.

The issue was that instead of being an intelligent and POLITE player, he was l-mining the station BEFORE the race, which could have ended up in EVERYONE losing the ship they had intended to race in and needing to go off and get another, meaning a LARGER delay in starting the race than there was because of the false starts. Then, he blatantly ignores the "No combat until the racers have left M-14" rule, and launches mines as the players start the race while they are still in M-14.

And the problem with "everyone hating Blackhole" is that there is still a LOT of Alpha/Beta-time sentiment about him being a jerk (That's putting it lightly), which spreads around to the new players because, well, the alpha players have a nasty tendency to be right about lots of game mechanics and other stuff, so why wouldn't they be right about this? On top of that, he's not doing ANYTHING to try and change that image. He's just doing what he did during alpha, what he did during beta, and it is further entrenching him into the title of "Asshole". So yeah, I guess it is my fault for starting that avenue of chatter in M-14, but unless he actively tries to change his reputation instead of making it worse and worse and worse, the issue will continue to crop up. Again, and again, and again.
