Help! Help! I'm bein' repressed!

I was under the impression that the judges were being announced, but I guess not--the actual verdict-finding process is closer to secret ballot than anything else from what I've been hearing in 100.

Given the feedback I was given by early judge panel members, it has been decided to keep the panel anonymous, except for myself, in order to protect their identity and avoid possible harassement or griefs.

Members of the panel are from diverse origins. Some have a slight Serco bias while others demonstrate a more neutral approach while others are true Itanis as well. All have a varying degree of levels, including a complete (and presumably impartial) noob.

The original panel selection contained 7 people including myself, ensuring a no-draw outcome. To date, I have 5 complete verdicts lists but since, one has fallen silent and another resigned for undisclosed reasons, leaving a still-viable 5-member panel. This still ensures a no-draw situation.

I will compile the results tonight and final verdicts will be announced on Wednesday evening. Only me will know the results and identity of the members of the panel. It should be noted that it's pointless to ask me about it. Even some ITAN members, of wich I'm their elected commander, could not get anything out of me.

Borb, to answer your demand, I can not divulge the identity of the panel as per majority request (actually, a tie since the resignation of one member). If one or more judge panel wants to go forward, I will neither confirm nor deny their involvement. It's up to them to decide if they want to be presumed member of the panel, but in order to protect others, I can not comment on anything that is said. I would urge caution to members of the panel and avoid any bad press.

As presiding panel member of these proceedings, I will take the heat for the bad press myself.

If Lecter if found guilty on one or more charges, he will be transfered from the temporary holding quarters (more like a suite if you ask me) to a permanent holding cell until the sentence is pronounced and executed.

this is priceless, i've seen kangaroo courts that were more fairly run.

on a side note, if you want any semblance of legitamacy to return to this sham, you need to at least assemble a second panel of impartial auditors who WILL be named and known to the universe to be party to the preceedings. pick people who can be trusted not to reveal the names of the judges, but who can say that there was something more than a farce when asked by the rest of the universe.

Your best bet is to pick people who are honorable and trustworthy, as well as fairly well known, if you can find any that is.

I've yet to meet a single honorable OR trustworthy person here. This secret jury is as fair as anything else you could come up with (read: not at all) and so all we need now are the Itani hoochies in thongs dancing for our amusement while the trial ends.

And why not, Dr Lecter has many times in the past made war on your guild and nation, including some alleged acts supposedly bordering on the limits of legal war. To include the alleged murder of your own son!

I say this man is innocent, and this whole "trial" if you can even loosely call it that is your way of dealing with your own grief over your obvious bad parenting resulting in your son running away from home and ultimately committing suicide.

Cmdr. Mouser, the good Doctor should not be on trial but rather you should be!

End this mockery of justice and turn your self in, you can't hide from your inner demons nor exorcise them by murdering innocent men.
