Incarnate you should fix the IDF valk (balance ship is broken)

fixed the jump sector and Wh was great
now it's hard to run! alright

But (add) why did you put only 55 drain turbo on the IDF valk???

that ship is now too fast it could keep over 220 speed.
none other light ship could compete the valk in speed.

So no way for any ship to escape it.

+ since the rockets got upgraded now eveybody abuse it.

So itani use the IDF + 2 rockets + 1 laser

they could gank you and no way to escape them.
while they could easly run away in red.

IDF vulk should has 60 drain turbo.
his armor 11 000 + 3 small make it already the best light ship.

please reconsider it.

[sarcasm]You know I think he's right.[/sarcasm] If you want to run around the sector forever in the hope of throwing off your pursuer so you can sneak up on someone else fighting then the Valk will and did eventually catch you. This only works provided it's lightly armed.

If you actually want to get away then it's not that difficult. Getting away however requires that you do not try to outrun a Valkyrie with an EC107 by flying in big loops around the sector. That would fall under the category of "stupid things experienced players should not attempt."

Me i dont agree and take into thought im Serco.
The IDF valk is the itani's main ship as is the SCP to the serco.For it being there best ship i think it is ok to have that kinda turbo and speed as the SCP has so much armor and can turn/roll like a vulture.Also without BP so wacked its going to be alot harder for newer ppl to get to those levels to get it.

if incarnate don't believe! well he should play a lit and see by himself.

i still cant believe the 55 drain when i checked the stats on wiki. i was wondering why the valk users could stick and run so fast in game.

Ermm, Ayn, thats the point of a valk, its not the best light fighter ingame, and IBG or Rev C beats it, simply because they are smaller, and move faster under none turbo speeds, without the ability to chase, its nothing (it requires 9/10/x/x/x and good Itani standing, Serco's can get em, my main had one, and he is Serco :P)

And FYI, Red_corsairs main is indeed a Serco :P

i am supposed itani hated. coz i am figthing them.

just put the 60 on drain turbo and it will be more correct.

orion rev c has 65
IBG has 65
vulturius 65

i have a Ec-107 with 210 infinite boost and the IDF outrunned me.
could you believe it?

Can't we just take the drain of the Rev C, IBG and Corvus Vult down to 60? :)

but incarnate will have to look at all the ship balance once again.

actually they are busy. :/

so fix only the valk. it's easier.

Well, i would prefer they didnt fix the valk, its fine as it is, and Ayn, its a BUS, its not supposed to out-class a valk >.<

Valk is supposed to be the fastest ship... am i wrong? In combat, as yoda said, it is not the best light fighter either. It may be the fastest, but is not the best by far. IBG or Rev C will easily take down a valk any day. If anything, the valk still needs to be upped slightly so that it can actually compete with an SCP.

In conversations of balance, the ship that should be discussed is the SCP. Nothing competes with it. But I won't hijack this thread into one of the many SCP needs to be fixed threads.

Valk's drain is fine. It needs to have something to make it a decent ship in order to counter its potato shape that makes it eat energy fire like none other. The one thing that is for sure correct about the valk atm is that it's supposed to be the fastest ship and it is.

Running away is still a very viable option. I chased an idiot in a hornett all over the place last night in my valk and I could not get her, because she was determined to hit and run, and top speed on the valk is still not much faster than the hornets. In my opinion, the valk should be made faster, because a lumbering hornet shouldn't be able to escape a valk on full turbo, but it can, and with no skill on the part of the pilot.

i can't believe the lie you guys keep going on.
You known the vlak has all advantages.
just look at the stats.

Since incarnate upgraded the rockets + the current stats of the valk make it overpowered.

please go in game full day and see ships flying around and how it work.

or give me the "admired" itani standing for 1 days and i will show you. i do not want to waste time and be forced to raise itani standing just to show it.

Errm, is that the valks fault, or the rockets, they were not upped, sunnies were recently reduced in ammo, not upped.

Pas défaut de Valk, il défaut de fusée, Valk avec seulement laser = mauvais contre l'IBG avec le nt3. Vous mettez des fusées sur plus de bateau que le valk, et des fusées peuvent être employées par tous.

it's a gank fest weapon.

shooting in the back. can't miss.

now everybody use it with abuse.

you should decrease the splash radius on the sunflares.

I would like to throw out 2 things. First and foremost, this is an RPG and some things are SUPPOSED to be better than others. As much as it may look like and feel like space-quake, it is moving in the direction of an RPG, and everything is not supposed to be totally balanced. Second, if Valks are so good, how come I gave up using them with my only character (an Itani) and got my Serco standing up so I could use SCPs? You know, I think I have only really died about 3 times since I made that change (/explode-teleport deaths excluded).

P.S. People are more likely to look at, understand, and respect your arguments if they are cohesive, well-punctuated, grammatically correct, and spelled correctly.

devs will see by themself.

just look at the balance of playerbase and see what are the ships used who is pvping or CtCing...

* 55 to 60 drain turbo speed for the valk
* decrease a lit the splash radius of rockets

i do not bring suggestion for trouble.
it's for the gameplay.
